Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 22, 2026
Brievo LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the mobile application Swipe: Swipe Photo Cleaner ("Swipe" or the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
1. Overview
Swipe is a photo management application that allows users to organize their iOS Photos library by swiping to keep, save, or delete photos and videos.
Swipe is designed with privacy in mind:
- No account is required
- No email or password is collected
- No analytics tracking by default
- No photos or videos leave your device
2. Information We Collect
A. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device:
- Photo decision records (Keep, Save, Queue for Delete) using Apple Photos PHAsset local identifiers
- Cleaning statistics (total decisions, kept, saved, deleted, storage freed, streak count, session summaries)
- Onboarding preferences (optional display name, cleaning goals, intensity, reminder preferences)
- Cached subscription entitlement status
- App hints and feature flags
- Notification preferences
- Last app open timestamps
This information is stored using iOS system storage (e.g., UserDefaults and App Groups for widgets). We do not store this data on external servers.
B. Photos & Media Access
With your permission, Swipe accesses your Photos library via Apple's Photos framework to: display thumbnails and metadata, allow swiping decisions, save photos to albums, queue photos for deletion, and permanently delete photos via the system deletion interface.
Swipe does not upload, copy, or transmit your photos or videos to any server. All processing occurs on-device. If you choose "Limited Library" access in iOS, Swipe will only access the selected photos.
C. Subscription & Purchase Data
Swipe offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("Swipe Plus"). We use Apple In-App Purchases and RevenueCat. RevenueCat processes anonymized purchase data to determine entitlement status. This may include: App Store transaction identifiers, anonymous device identifiers, and subscription status.
Swipe does not receive your full payment details. Payments are handled entirely by Apple. For Apple's privacy practices, see Apple's Privacy Policy.
D. Push Notifications (Optional)
If you enable notifications, Swipe may send: streak reminders, cleaning nudges, and feature reminders. Notifications are handled via Apple Push Notification services. We do not collect push notification data externally. You may disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
Swipe does NOT collect:
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Account credentials
- Photos or videos
- Location data
- Advertising identifiers
- Analytics tracking by default
4. How We Use Information
Because most data remains on-device, usage is limited to: operating app functionality, enabling subscriptions, improving user experience, and providing support when contacted.
If you contact us via email, we may use your email address solely to respond to your inquiry.
5. Data Retention
All app data remains on your device unless you delete the app, reset your device, or manually delete app data. Subscription transaction data is retained by Apple and RevenueCat per their policies.
6. Your Rights & Controls
You can:
- Revoke Photos access in iOS Settings
- Switch to Limited Library access
- Disable notifications
- Delete the app to remove stored data
- Request support via our contact form
7. Children's Privacy
Swipe is intended for general audiences and is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
8. International Users
Swipe is distributed globally through Apple's App Store. Data processed by Apple or RevenueCat may be transferred and stored in jurisdictions outside your country.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
